The Waitress

This is the same girl I did in Rag Heads but this time she is a waitress. And while I was doing it I was thinking she is turning out more Greek or Mediterranean not so Spanish or Mexican  Like the first time I painted her. It is hard for me to capture the essence of a person with paint. Sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. Its like those Chinese paintings you see online they have no soul. This painting has a soul she is there staring right back at you waiting to take your order. Ha ha Its kind of like that scene from the Godfather where Michael Corleone is at the little cafe in Sicily And he asks his body guards to inquire about the girl in the purple dress. And the guy says she looks more Greek than Italian. Anyway  she is for sale 36 x 36 oil on linen $ 200.00 dollars
