Rag Heads

This is a painting I did of a girl from the Internet. When I was a kid I can remember women and girls wearing bandannas and scarfs on their heads in the summer working in the fields. Or just going out to the fields with food for lunch. Finding a tree for some shade and a pickup tailgate as a table. So I have a soft spot in me for  a woman with a rag on her head.
